I want to buy a iPad mini.But i can't sure that ipad can play 720P mkv with xbmc smoothly without crash.
Because my iphone4 can't.
So i ask

mkv is a container. It depends on what the codec is. My iPhone 4 has no issues with my 720 or even 1080 h.264 MKVs.

I played a couple of my 720p mkv and had no issue, wasn't that what you were asking?
