I posted a thread similar to this a few days ago. I switches from PowerDVD to ArcSoft and tried others suggestions with no luck so I am re-posting.

I have Frodo with Aeon MQ 2.9.0. I have used this playcorefactory on Eden to play 3DBD ISO files with ArcSoft with no problems. On Frodo, however, when I select a 3DBD ISO file the movie plays in XBMC not ArcSoft.

BUT:

If I right click the same 3DBD ISO movie and select "PLAY USING..." and then select "ISO _PLAYER (DEFAULT) from the sub menu it works perfectly and plays with ArcSoft
How can I get the playcorefactory to use ArcSoft to play a 3DBD ISO by simply selecting it rather than right clicking it and selecting "PLAY USING..." "ISO _PLAYER (DEFAULT)? I have tried someone else's playiso.bat file and the same thing happened. I can copy and paste the scripts below if needed.

Any Ideas would be appreciated.

Please note: I don't have an understanding of these scripts so please dumb it down.

I had this problem where iso will start playing in the built-in player instead of tmt5. I solved it by adding bdmv and mpls also to the filetype rules as in:

<rule filetypes="iso|bdmv|mpls" player="ISO_BDMV_Player"/>
