I download the .dmg, and when i open it there is a background with the logo and a little URL in the bottom right corner. Thing is, the two boxes where i'd assume the actual application file is and a link to the Applications folder are empty. If anybody has a reason this isn't showing up, that would be greatly appreciated.

Where did you download it from/what URL is the dmg? Both v12 stable and latest nightly build dmg's look fine on my end.
