I read on Google Open Source Blog that the annual Google Summer of Code will be happening for its ninth time this year.

Wondering if XBMC going to try to join as mentoring organization this year too and if you can get more students now?
Also, what types of project ideas will you prefer to see focused on by students this year?
Maybe a specific hot niche market that you like to see prioritized over others? Home automation GUI/API for example?
Google Summer of Code 2013?

Always read the XBMC online-manual, FAQ and search the forum before posting. Do not e-mail XBMC-Team members directly asking for support. Read/follow the forum rules.
