Admittedly I am a novice at all of this. My previous roommate was extremely talented in this area and set me up with all of this. He did teach me the procedure to install and update through SSH client. I am using putty but it wont seem to accept the default password of "alpine" it just continuously tells me denied. I am running version 5.0.1 on ATV. Any help would be much appreciated.

For what username?

You can make easy links to the XBMC wiki using double brackets around words: [[debug log]] = debug log, [[Add-on:YouTube]] = Add-on:YouTube, [[Adding videos to the library]] = Adding videos to the library, [[userdata]] = userdata, etc
