Hi, so I still can't get rid of my iTunes and remote and with its genius and "up next" features, so I'd rather hold onto it for a bit longer, although XBMC's audio at 44.1 kHz is now bitperfect, allowing for perfect playback of both DTS and AC3 encoded 2-channel WAV files. Yes!
What I'd like to do is to control iTunes but send it via Airplay to XBMC. Both iTunes and XBMC are on the same machine. Things work, but bit perfect testing shows that somewhere the stream is being altered. DTS WAV files work just fine in either iTunes or in XBMC, but NOT when you send that same file from iTunes via airplay to XBMC. Anyone know if this is an airplay limitation, or does XBMC alter the stream upon receiving it?
