Solved Problems since the new version
#1
Hello,

Since i use the new version of XBMC, i have some problems.

-XBMC on Windows crashes while launching
-XBMC on live CD freezes on the screen "partitioning" while installation as dual boot

Are there recurrent bugs of the new versions ? Is it possible to correct it ? Thanks.

You ain't going to get a debug log out of the installer crashing!

And if your windows version won't start you have to hand craft an advancedsettings.xml to turn it on. Possible but not intuitive!

There is no file named "advancedsettings.xml" in my folder "userdata".

I don't have any ideas regarding the Live CD flavor.

If you upgraded you may have configuration or add-on's that it doesn't like. I suggest doing a complete uninstall and move the complete xbmc folder under your profile and do a clean install.

Then you need to create one.
