I have completed my first build and will install the OS within the next few days. I am planning on installing Windows 8 as the primary OS but would like to leave myself an out invade I don't like the interface I I have problems with running XBMC so I am thinking about creating a partition on my 128GB SSD (maybe 20-40GBs) and install Linux or OpENELeC. Has anybody ever done this and do you think it's a good idea?
My main purpose is that I would want to tinker with a Linux OS and XBMc in case I like that interface better. I want to be able to use Windows 8 from the tv room (Internet, YouTube etc), would also want to have the smooth media center environment with the extremely fast boot time.
Why size should I make the partition?
Any suggestions?
