while i admit i ask for alot of assist, i figure its about time for me to sink or swim. so i'm going to get my feet wet by messing with the directory structure... not that a bit of searching is a hard thing but going to try and organize myself a bit more for example in imdb data the db is in one spot the thumbs are in another as is the xml so you have to wander all over to get it all out (or try and save it). so maybe....

yep, i figure on my local i can screw up alot of stuff this way....... but its a project... and then if i want to slay the video info i can do it all in one whack (or save it) as with the audio etc.
