slight problem here but nothing really major, probably something i did wrong. for some reason when i turn on my xbox, when xbmc boots it automatically starts playing some of the music on my smb share. i've checked all the settings in my music, however there doesn't seem to be an option to disable this. there doesn't seem to be anything in centre [-forum-auto-response- today's lesson; our name is xboxmediacenter].xml either (and i'm kinda too scared to fiddle with the others). i can post a debug log if you think it's needed.

maybe it could be a good idea to tell us your solution...

i think you were using a autoexec.py script taht was launching a secondary script which were playing these playlist files.

the solution you can use is to simply delete the autoexec.py file that you'll find in your q:\scripts directory or use another script named startupmanager that will enable you to select any kind of startup you want and configure what you want to play.
