Linux Logitech K260 wireless mouse/keyboard combo in standalone distros
#1
I've tried this with newest builds of Xbian, Raspbmc and OpenELEC:
I have this wireless keyboard/mouse combo that transmit to the same usb receiver. It works fine until I try to unplug and replug it (directly to the RasPi's USB port, no hub inbetween), where no more input is recognized, so maybe the driver is not reloaded?
This is not an issue with other Linux distros for RasPi, works for instance in Raspbian.
If I can make this work, I only need one set of mouse and keyboard on my desk and can switch the usb receiver between my desktop pc and the RasPi.

So I found a hint that hotplug detection might not be supported. Is this a thing that would have to be taken care of by XBMC, or by the maintainers of the various Raspberry Pi distros, like RaspBMC, OpenELEC etc.?

The latter.

There is also an opinion that it's a known (?) issue in XBMC.
Here's what I posted at RaspBMC.
how to proceed in that case?
