Hello,
I noticed that xbmc since version 12.alpha3 no longer appear as a render.
not working clients: Android wideo player, BubbleUPnP

Anyone else have this problem?

I ran some tests, it turns out that xbmc broadcasts only within the first subnetu on the network adapter.

So if addressing looks like:

2: eth0: <BROADCAST,MULTICAST,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 1500 qdisc pfifo_fast state UP qlen 1000
link/ether 1c:6f:65:22:37:de brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff
inet 192.168.2.2/24 brd 192.168.2.255 scope global eth0
inet 192.168.0.2/24 brd 192.168.0.255 scope global eth0

xbmc will be visible by device with the ip from the subnet 192.168.2.0/24, unfortunately, not by device from subnet 192.168.0.0/24

In earlier versions there was such a relationship may one of the developers give more information?

Regarding ArkMC client actually sees xbmc no difference in what class it is. unfortunately it needs about 60 seconds to discover xbmc from secondary subnet
