When I install the last 2 nightlies (xbmc-20130310-8f219c5-master-atv2.deb, xbmc-20130308-b8ee9c6-master-atv2.deb, ATV2 reboots when launching XBMC.
When I install xbmc-20130308-6b319a1-master-atv2.deb 08-Mar-2013 11:43 all is fine.

Ditto. True for both my ATV2s, one at 5.0.1 and the other at 5.2.

Can post my logs if useful, let me know.

crashreporter log and debug log (wiki) (with debugging turned on!) needed.

Install Method (apt-get, dpkg, ssh'd and copied)
wget http://mirrors.xbmc.org/nightlies/darwin...r-atv2.deb
dpkg -i x*

Detailed Instructions to Reproduce the Problem (The more specific the better.)
Try to start xbmc.

Easy workaround. Just use the latest stable Wink

. I discovered that this version http://mirrors.xbmc.org/nightlies/darwin...r-atv2.deb is the latest which doesn't crash at launch.

That version is indicated as fine in the OP.

Yeah, i tried all versions in the reverse release order. Just wanted to clarify that this is the latest working version.

Fixed in mainline - though billy is unhappy for a while and chewes on the merge window changes. Normal behavior - nothing to see here Wink
