I recently bought a usb tuner to integrate into htpc.
I can not integrate it with xbmc.
Hardware is detected, but when i try to configure PVR, displays connection error.

Usb tuner works fine with windows media center

Someone can 'help me with the configuration step by step?
I don't speak English well and for me in really difficult to undestand informations.

XBMC does not work with Windows Media Centre. You will need to use different software with XBMC.

With Windows, you could use:
http://www.team-mediaportal.com/
http://www.argus-tv.com/
http://www.nextpvr.com/

Make your usb tuner work with one of these software's first and then set it up to work with XBMC. These software are know as 'back-end' software. They work in the background to bring TV to XBMC.

The Wiki link below shows how to connect the back-end software to XBMC. Use this once you have got your tuner fully working with one of the software's above.

Yes. That's correct. Get the USB tuner working first and then enable the plugin to XBMC. And your English is fine Smile

With nextpvr usb tuner was recognize and in xbmc is possible to view tv, but the number of channels in very small.

In WMC tuner find over 200 channels.

I need to install some plugins to improve the search?

No plugins will help the tuner find more channels. Have you tried re-scanning? I have read else-where that Next PVR takes a couple of scans to get all the channels.

If not...
Either try new software (I had a similar issue when I tried the Argus software. It didn't find any HD channels so I swapped to Mediaportal and it found them fine)
Or post directly on the Next PVR forums. Sub (the main guy there) should be able to advise how to fix the issue.
