1.8A High Capacity Power Cable

Oh hey guys,

I just bought some cheap power cables off Meritline and they seem to struggle with Raspberry Pi's power needs.

I have since switched to the somewhat new power cables from my Nexus 4/7.

If I were to again switch to a 1.8A Blackberry Playbook High Capacity charger will I see any sort of noticeable performance or stability increase?

I am using RaspBMC and only occasionally am affected by freezes.

I bought http://dx.com/p/dual-usb-ac-power-adapte...40v-183119
and used USB-port feedback. USB male-male cable directly from PSU to USB port in Pi.. Smile TP1&TP2 voltage is 5.0!
This unit has both 2.1A & 1.0 at 5.1v.
