Recordings not showing up
#31
Indeed, thanks! I've pushed to fixes to github.com/fetzerch/xbmc-pvr-addons/ branch master (for xbmc pre-gotham) and branch frodo for frodo.

I'm running one Gotham box and one Frodo box, each running a version of the add-on reporting itself as 1.6.10. They both have the issue that the recording list does not update without a reboot. Do I need a newer version to get the fix?

I think you need to use either janbar or fetzerch's branch and build it yourself. As far as I know, it still hasn't made it into wider circulation.

i am running crystalbuntu 2.0 which is XBMC Frodo 12.1 on top of Ubuntu 12.04 and my current recordings don't show up either unless I reboot crystalbuntu 2.0 (original apple tv)

not sure what logs to provide as my xbmc.log file is huge!

Ahm ... did you read this thread and especially the last posts?

I submitted the patch to the xbmc addon repository. Its now up to the team to accept and release it.

You can get the final patch like that: (for frodo or 13Alpha)

cd xbmc-pvr-addons

curl https://github.com/fetzerch/xbmc-pvr-add.../108.patch | git am

then make clean and compile addon.

To revert the patch:

git reset --hard HEAD~3

Or waiting cfetzer merge it. Br
how would I accomplish on an original apple tv? I can't seem to find the xbmc-pvr-addons directory.

I just tried it this evening and it doesn't appear that the patch is part of the 12.2 release.

This patch is now in the current openelec 3.0 branch, which means it will be in OE 3.0.3.

i don't understand why they didn't add this into 12.2? I don't run OE so that does me not good. I'm happy for those that do run OE but I don't

Who knows...

Anyway, its trivial to compile yourself.
