I've been asked by the inlaws if I was able to do up a simple plugin for them so they can check the local surf cam feeds from their media center. I thought this sounded like an awesome little scripting project, until I did some digging around and got stuck trying to find/decode the stream!
I would really appreciate if someone could spend a couple of minutes and give this a quick look over for me - I'm no stranger to coding/scripting however haven't done an XBMC add-in as yet, so far looks quite straight forward (yay!) and have been following a great little (albeit outdated) tutorial here.
The surf camera site is HERE however I have a feeling they may geoIP lock the feed (Australian).
Again, any advice or points in the right direction would be greatly appreciated, and if I am able to nut it out I'll definitely post the finished product up for any any other Aussies out there who would find this useful.
