ATV2 / Frodo 12.1 Crashes Randomly!
#1
Hello,

Can you please help me: My atv2 (5.0.2) crashes randomly when navigating through the menus or channels of Frodo 12.1. The latest crash occurred when I stopped a channel that was playing!!! Other crashes occur simply by stepping through the menu or trying to Launch a channel!!!

Attached are two separate log files. I hope you can identify the problem.

http://pastebin.com/b4LRtumT (crash happened right after I stopped a channel that was playing fine)

http://pastebin.com/buQxsdgt (crash(es) happened when navigating menu(s) or trying to play a channel)

Thank you.

There is something wrong with your MyVideos60 database.
Don't really know if that's your issue, but it pops up a few times in your log. Delete the database and let XBMC rebuild it Wink

In your second log there is something totally wrong with the encoded file.

This stream is not encoded properly and is giving the hardware decoder issues. Try turning of Hardware decoding for this as it's not 720p

Code:
01:33:50 T:173301760  NOTICE: Decode - VTDecompressionSessionDecodeFrame returned(-12911)

Btw. Your link has a dot at the end Wink

I've noticed that some plugins get into a "bad state" on upgrades or just randomly.
If the crash seems isolated to a plugin, you may want to delete the plugin userdata and reconfigure it.
eg. "rm -rf /var/mobile/Library/Preferences/XBMC/userdata/addon_data/plugin.video.myplugin"
