So how to I upgrade from 12.0 to 12.1 ?

Sorry if I'm being dense....I read through the Rasberry Pi FAQ but maybe I'm just not comprehending......I have 12.0 Frodo installed.....how do I upgrade XBMC to 12.1 ?

which distribution? There are a few differences between Openelec, Raspbmc, Xbian...

You can download the nightly for the 22nd that's 12.1. But if I was you I'd wait for testing to complete in a few days and you raspbmc will automatically update

My suggestion is that people help testing and install the nightly.
Report back any issues.

Installing and switching between XBMC versions is so easy on Raspbmc and therefor totally safe.
If it does not work for you you can easily switch back.
If you end up in a reboot loop you can just delete .xbmc-current and everything will work again.
