Hi guys, can someone please point me to where I can find a way (step by step procedure) on how to downgrade from 12.1 to 12.0 on ATV2? THX

Use the nightly install instructions but with this url for step 1

Code:
http://mirrors.xbmc.org/apt/atv2/deb/org.xbmc.xbmc-atv2_12.0-1_iphoneos-arm.deb

Any reason why you want to downgrade? The only iOS crashing that anyone can seem to confirm has been fixed (add-on repo issue), outside of corrupted files that wouldn't get fixed in a downgrade.

Here is the issue that I started seeing after upgrading to 12.1: I can play a youtube clip just fine in the latest youtube addon, but if I try the same clip in LiveStreams addon, it just turns and turns, then comes-up with playback failed error!!! So I'm hoping that reverting to 12.0 will fix the problem...I'll let you know.... Thanks!

Update: Downgrading to 12.0 Solved the problem! I hope you guys can fix it is in 12.1 (ATV2) Thanks!
Here is the test link I use in Livestreams...It works fine on 12.0, but for some reason, it seems to choke on 12.1

Hey Ned, You seemed interested in knowing what prompted the downgrade. I did provide some info on the issue, but I don't know if you had a chance to look into it or if it's enough info....Let me know if you need anything else. Thanks

This could be the cause, it was not supposed to be merged in 12.1:

Thanks mippa! So what's next? If they've merged it in 12.1, we have to wait till the next final release? or has it already been (or will be) taken care of in 13 beta? THX

Still, it might not be your problem but I have seen others that upgraded and certain addons and streaming sites stopped working.
Anyway, this is supposed to fix it: https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/commit/63a6...23ce9a5eb4

I do not know if/when this will be merged to the Frodo branch, perhaps someone of the developers can answer this.
I have a feeling it will be a 12.2 though (hope so since there are so many things being worked on such as ffmpeg, OMX etc.) otherwise a future Gotham nightly might be worth a try.

That fix should be included in 12.2. Looks like it was affecting a number of streams. We might have an unofficial test build of what will become 12.2 for you guys to test with. I'll ask the devs.
