How can you get XBMC to recognize a file that has a name that the computer won't allow? I am trying to add the series .hack// , which, of course, the computer gives me several error messages with. If I try just Hack, it comes up with a completely different show.
Any suggestions?

Oh geez, freaking TVDB thinks all of the .hack// series is one show and calls them different seasons. That's... so.. effing... stupid.
I would call the folder whatever you want and just manually correct it. If you put a period in front of the folder, then some OSes will hide that folder:

The .hack works in windows (for episodes) with therenamer pulling info from tvdb however Linux/BSD based os's will hide anything with period preceding the name. It was a quick test havent tested that in Linux.
