Spotimc playback issue

I am new to XMBC however, I am a quick learner. I have just installed SpotiMc via a zip file. The version I have installed is 1.0-beta3.

I have logged in using my Spotify premium account and everything loads up, I can search for an album/artist. However nothing plays. I keep getting an error message that says
Quote:One or more items failed to play. Check the log file for details
where do I find this log file? and how can I work out what the problem is?


I would really appreciate a little help to guide me over this hurdle as this is the last one I have (for the time being)

SpotiMC beta 3 broke after updating to 12.1

Mikel Azkolain has already fixed it and there will be an updated version soon.

Thanks ever so much for your speedy reply. I really appreciate the feedback you have given me. I will read the thread you have pointed me to. Can you let me know where I should be looking to get hold of the new version, when it is released?
