so artrafael/anyone,

is there no possible way to have xbmc start playing music again once you have finished watching something?

Yes, I'd be interested in that too but from what artrafael has already said, I don't think that is an option right now. One thing I did try was to instead of having a set of mp3's in a playlist.m3u (can handle flac files as well), you can actually have a set of m3u's, say playlist 1, playlist2, etc. Smile This means that the minute you turn on xbmc you could have a random set of your favourite tracks. This gets around the issue of random mp3's where if it picks the last track it will then stop after playing it. This turns the player into an instant background player at least until you decide to do something else. Something worth noting is that you should make sure all tracks have gone through an app like Tag & Rename so you don't end up with a lot of crap on your screen
