XBMX on set to box
#1
Hell all,

i just discovered XBMX yesterday for the 1st time.
Installed it on my Android phone and it works fine.
Love it. love it so much that i would like to put it on a box like Roku or something like it.
A part from Apple TV is there another set to box that does not require any rooting?
Would like to buy, install and watch without any hassles.
The Roku 3 seems interesting but i did not see any mention of XBMC.
What about Ouya, would it be easy to set it up on it?

Thanks in advance for all your answers

Pivos and Ouya are the top contenders in my mind, but check out the hardware forum and Android support forum and you'll see a bunch of different devices discussed there.

Roku can't have XBMC installed on it.

Ouya has already announced support and will also give you a controller and gaming capabilities. Think it has ethernet and wifi too.

Pivos is the box the XBMC team are pushing so it will be well supported too. Like above mentioned those are you best choices.

If you just want it for XBMC then Pivos would probably be best.

If you want a cheap gaming console too then wait for the Ouya.
