I always used https://play.google.com/store/apps/detai...d.tvhguide

You're welcome. In my opinion TVHClient is the better choice Smile

I can get the index.html page to appear, and if I click on Mobile UI that comes up, but if I click Timeline I just get a blank white page, and if I click Listings I see a grid with times on the left hand side but there is nothing in the grid.

I obtained the program by going to https://github.com/polini/TvheadendMobileUI and downloading the zip file, then (as root) copying the mobile directory from the zip file to /usr/share/tvheadend/src/webui/static/mobile. I assume I did it right since the index page comes up, but it simply appears that it isn't able to fetch any data from TVHeadEnd. I also tried the version at https://github.com/polini/TvheadendMobil...eadend-4.0 and it behaved exactly the same way.

Which version of the addon should I be using with HTS Tvheadend 3.9.1553~g6a86c96~wheezy, and how do I get it to work? Are there any dependencies or anything that need to be installed?

Also, are there any similar addons designed to bring a grid view (similar to what you see in XBMC) to the desktop web-based UI?

Same here i'm running Tvheadend 3.9.1780

Same here. Any updates to this project? It's really great, not only for mobile devices!

OK, I'm using tvheadend 3.9.2171.

I did a
Code:
git clone https://github.com/polini/TvheadendMobileUI.git

and a
Code:
git checkout tvheadend-4.0
to get the 4.0 branch.

But I only get
Code:
1 Unknown returncode

Any ideas?

Sorry, But I don't find your comment very helpful.
I read the previous posts and they claim that they downloaded the zip file from Github while I cloned the whole repo.
I did think you cannot download a special branch in a zip file but always the master. But I rechecked and was wrong here. So sorry, my post was made too early.

My previous posts clearly indicate that TvheadendMobileUi is outdated and won't work on recent versions of Tvheadend. I also recommended to use native iOS/Android apps instead as they offer more functionality and work as they should.

However, for users PC project is great.
I hope I live to see the update.

Thumbs Up
Hello,

the code is now updated to the new API for current Tvheadend versions!

Please use the branch tvheadend-4.0 as indicated above.
Please be careful, as the version isn't tested well.
