i am runing windows 7
XBMC 12.1
trying to play WMA lossless album.
i could play FLAC files just fine. and MP3,
will not play. it show up with all the info. cover art cdart. and all . when i press play nothing happens.

I had the same Problem in Win 8. I had to enable WMA in the audio output device...

I am sorry, but there is no setting under Audio Output to enable WMA.
if there is a setting could someone please help me find it??

Last time I checked, XBMC didn't support WMA lossless.
Because ffmpeg version don't.

try the latest nightly from here: http://mirrors.xbmc.org/nightlies/win32/
we updated ffmpeg and it seems to support at least 16bit wma losless.
