Hello,
I'm using Raspbmc, and trying to get a remote to control it. I had bought a Philips SRM 5100 (receiver MCEUSB + remote). But the remote is no longer working (only the arrows and ok buttons are responding).
Now, I started trying to use a Xbox 360 remote control to work with it. When I press buttons from the Xbox 360 remote, the philips receiver lights up its light (which indicate that is receiving commodes); but Raspbmc does not respond.
After doing some digging, I found that Xbox 360 remote has codes different from the SRM 510 remote. Than, I started trying to replace lircd.conf with the 360 remote. But the thing is: lircd is not running (but the mceusb responds to the original remote). It seems to be responding by the udev service.
Does anyone knows how I would be able to change the button codes the udev responds to the MCEUSB device?
