Hi,

I have written my very first xbmc add-on. This add-on parses the HomerJ website and is able to play the video on demand section from http://www.homerj.de .

here a short list of thinks that work:
-category overview
-video on demand
-FSK 18 support
-Encoding (äöü)
-podcasts

thinks that don't work
-Live Cast
-Resume of VODs

version v0.4 29. June 2013:

- Adapted changes from HomerJ webpage
- vod section is functional again
- github repository
- released under GPL v3

[strike]Due to modifications on their Page the entire VOD section is currently not working.
Right now only the audio podcasts are available. [/strike]

- Categories containing FSK 18 VODs do not raise Errors anymore
- FSK 18 VODs are now listed from 10pm to 6am (22:00 bis 6 Uhr)

good question, an answer might be that this add on is my very first add on and I really got struggled with the xbmc API (how the scripts is launched and how parameters are exchanged between the python script and xbmc). I guess the way I have written this add on is not common ^ ^ ...

Could be, I am new here. I would be happy if a Mod moves this thread into the right forum.

Have you been thinking about using a version control like svn or git? A webhoster like funpic.de does not seem to be ideal place to host software like this.

Is the add-on listed in any xbmc-repository?

- ehm no I even do not know the difference between both. If you want i can release feature releases under GPLv3.

-yeah i thought about this. Maybe future releases will be hosted on git ...

-no its not. I do not expect that a wide range of people would be interested in this add on. And i need to say that i am not familiar how to do this.
