how to autosave current path of slideshow to Startup.xml??
#1
Question
i'm using pi model b with openelec/raspbmc.
i'm using it only for slideshow. i've many folders in pictures and i got successful in connecting ir remote through gpio
and my keymap works well as i defined for my required use.different keys are assinged to different folders for slideshow.

There is a file /storage/.xbmc/addon/skin_name/720p/Startup.xml
i edited that file like this by removing all inside that

<window>
<onload>SlideShow(/storage/pictures/foldername/)</onload>
</window>

This greatly worked. when pi is booted, it shows slideshow now.
My aim is to start the slideshow that was lastly seen before shutdown.
anyway to write a script that auto saves the location of currently viewing picture to that Startup.xml??
or any program that saves the current slideshow path to that Startup.xml for every single minute??

Is there anyone who can give ideas or help me with this situation??
