Hi, since some days from now i've been trying to play .AVI in gotham buils but the only result i get is a black screen and audio no video at all.
I don't know howelse to report since it's simple to replicate, play .avi, no image, only sound.

I cant replicate, Im running a compiled XBMC from todays master and I can play any of my .AVI files just fine

could this be a problem related to codec support? if so how can i update codecs?
also could you please provide me with laest gotham release you use that .AVI works? thank you so much in advance.
if it is lib problems, could you guys tell me wich one should i use pls?

Well I don't think it can be closed.
If the latest XVBA branch is somehow broken, it needs to be fixed.

there is obviously a problem with vdpau mpeg4 (xvid/divx) decoding after the ffmpeg merge. Note that mpeg4 via vdpau is disabled by default and must be enabled in advanced settings.
