how to set up IR receiver on xbmc

hey guys

I just got IR receiver and Harmony 650 remote and want to set it up on my htpc using windows 7

is there a guide or if someone could tell me how to do it please?

Hi Gravediggaz

It should work more or less without doing anything, assuming that Windows has already recognized the device. You may need to select the "Remote control sends Keyboard presses" on Settings->system->Input devices

But if you want to play a little bit with key function assignment and do some advanced tricks, the best place to start is the wiki
