sorry - I just thought there were only few people interested in the file - but as people seem to like a stable and working XBMC it seems you did the right thing
by compressing it Big Grin Hopefully you won´t get question around whether your zip is virus free Wink

... and the good news is that it helped resolving your problems.

If you could post the md5 checksum of yours, then it (xbmc.exe) would be confirmed to be as virus free as your version Smile (because it would be identical down to the last bit). Or ppl could just scan it. Regarding the 7z, could one infect a computer with non executable files.. I don't think so? At least not since DEP was introduced. But that's going a bit of topic..
