Sports scraper...

A fellow community member has been toying with the idea of starting a scraper site for wrestling, mma and sports, seeing as these don't seem to fit on the tvdb and tmdb. Still in the early stages right now, but wondered if there are there any standards that need to be adhered to in order for the scraper to be accepted for consideration to be added to XBMC? It will be utilising the same open source code as tvdb.

I knocked up a scraper for MMA events. But its a movie based scraper, and loads the into the Movie DB. Sports obviously fits into the TV structure better, being broken into seasons and all. But I couldn't find doco on TV scraping so I started with what was easiest.

For MMA I found it was best to search sherdog based on simple name (e.g. UFC-159) and then use the proper title of the event from sherdog to search themoviedb in order to get fan art. In case its of any use to you its here:

Excellent work, I'll be sure to pass it on Big Grin Nothing set in stone yet, so it's interesting to see how others have tackled the problem.
