I am new to the xbmc world (well not really but my last time was to long ago to remember, the xbox 1 era) i have 2 questions that i need som help with.

Q1:
I have a computer that runs Windows 7 Home Premium and this computer also acts as my tv computer with xbmc, my tv computer with xbmc also has a bunch of shared folders.
I have a second computer that I use for maintaining my tv computer but i have 1 problem, when i start xbmc my other computer looses connection to the shared folders.

I would like to be able to access the shared folder even if xbmc is running.

Q2:
I have set up som folders with media in xbmc so that i can watch my shows but it seems as XBMC shares the folders itself on the network, is there any way to disable that, it confuses the family

Your questions are very confusing...

Q1 when XBMC runs it should not disable sharing so other machines should still be able to access your shares even if XBMC is running.
Are you saying this is not the case?

Q2 I am really lost about what the question is and what the problem is...
