I have a video addon that lets me watch live tv. Right clicking a channel within the add-on in XBMC Gotham, the "play using" feature comes up. Clicking this shows my smart tv which is dlna/upnp compatible. I select my tv, but it does not play in my tv, just in XBMC. In my tv, when i connect to the XBMC server, all i see are video and audio libraries which are empty. How wuld i go about this? Is there a way to browse the addon on my tv? Any help?

You can use serviio to watch on your dlna enabled tv. Go to serviio.org and download serviio server...

The add-on is Weeb Tv, which can be downloaded from http://weeb.tv , under the XBMC tab. The website is written in Polish but the link is in bold on the right hand side of the page.
