OS X Movies from unconfigured source in XBMC
#1
Question
Hey all

My XBMC (v12.2 on OSX 10.8.3) is adding movies from a path on my hard disk that is not configured in my sources.xml. Are there any other config files where I can specify the paths for content (movies) other than the sources.xml in my userdata directory?

You can find the debug log of XBMC of the "VideoInfoScanner" module that is trying to add new content from a path, that is not configured in my source.xml.
xbmc.log

Here is the sources.xml file, which does not include the path seen in the debug log
source.xml

Thanks!

Manually add that path back as a source. Then remove it and XBMC will ask if you want to update the library too, and say yes. That should remove the path from the library DB.

Thanks! I'll try that. I was able to solve the problem by deleting the MyVideos#.db. Of course not the best way as you lose the whole movie library. I'll try your method with the backup of my userdata folder.
