i have a iphone 4 (ios 5.1.1) and i am trying to stream internally to my phone. I have installed the newest xbmc to my phone but cant figure how to stream it from my media server.

Depends on what file share options your media server has. The most common ones are
SMB (wiki),
NFS (wiki), etc.

I use NFS. Also i see i am having issues streaming or even seeing it on my logitech google tv.

Does anything show up when you go to Add Videos -> Browse -> NFS ?
