I tried it on the Raspberry Pi build as well as the x86_64 generic build on an HTPC, both had the same problems. I managed to overcome the problem only using optical out on the HTPC and switching the audio input to that channel, but obviously I don't have this option on the Raspberry Pi.
Had anyone found a solution to this problem or at least a cause?
Do you get this with passthrough enabled/disabled?
Do you get it with music or video files?
Do you have "sync playback to display" enabled? If you do try disabling it.
