Conneting with Android...

I have my movies on a NAS that is password protected. MySQL is running with shared library...

I can browse to the share via Android just fine (after enter my username / password in the ec file explorer app).

My advancedsettings.xml are in the correct location.

I open up XBMC on the android phone and it shows me my library and list of movies/fanart. But when I go to play one, it says that the file is no longer accessible, would I like to remove it.

What do I need to do to get this to connect properly?

Thanks,
John

Copy the password.xml file from one of the other computers to the android device.

OK - I didn't have a password.xml on the other devices (connecting to NAS as a network drive). Your suggestion should solve it.

strange- there is no password.xml on the machines - probably because I map the network drive and enter credentials that way. out of curiosity, is there any way to create/edit the password.xml file from the xbmc app itself?

That's the problem, don't use mapped network drives. Use the internal clients inside of XBMC for file sharing.

File manager inside XBMC john as Ned stated.
