WMV seek problem

I am running 12.2 “Frodo” and experiencing issues when trying to fast forward in WMV (mms) streams. The video plays fine until I press fast forward a few times. At this point XBMC either interrupts the video, or crashes. Searching the forums, and bugs revealed that there was a similar problem a while ago and it has reportedly been fixed: "Seeking in MMS Streams doesn't work" http://trac.xbmc.org/ticket/12167.

I've reproduced the problem with the same file referenced in the bug: mmsh://straumod.nrk.no/disk11/Supermorgen/2011-03-11/MSUS54000411AA-1Mbit.wmv?UseSilverlight=1

Does anyone else have problems trying to fast forward/skip (seek) WMV files?
