Hi all,

I am a first time poster here - was previously using PS3 as my primary media viewer, but since i found xbmc for my ipad, i have been a religous user on all my devices - thanks for a fantastic system!

Anyway,

I am having issues updating Frodo to 12.2 using the apt-get method.


Apple TV2
iOS Version 5.2 Build 6010.96
XBMC 12.1 Git:20130317-0d373cc (Compiled: Mar 17 2013)

I originally restored my ATV, jailbroke with seas0npass and installed xbmc as according to the instructions here : http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=HOW..._2#ATV_5.x

I have also installed NitoTV.

when i run the get update command it eventually throws up this error:

W: Failed to fetch http://mirrors.xbmc.org/apt/atv2/./Packages.gz HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found

Thats my main issue - hoping that by updating it will solve my other issues (see below)

1) library doesnt update properly - on my mac and ipad it correctly shows all my files, but on the ATV its not seeing anything new since about a week ago? been getting an error pop up on launch: "error running script - script.common.plugin.cache"

2) Crashes/Resprings. Alot. - mostly when starting up or using any other skin besides confluence and medieval (forget the name)

3) Sometimes after a crash/respring, XBMC and ATV will lose my preferences and i will have to set them up again - XBMC keeps my media locations though


** I have pulled the CrashReporter but not sure where to upload it? Its a folder with 30 items in?

I restored my ATV to 5.2.1 and installed 12.2 using apt-get

Seems to be working now and actually feels smoother and faster than before.

I think it may have been something to do with Nito TV/ATV Flash that was messing it up
