I tried to update to 12.2 via Terminal on my ATV2 and it didn't work.

I've followed the wiki and deleted xbmc and the dependancies, rebooted, reinstalled (tried via NitoTV this time).
The XBMC logo in on the page but when I click it, xbmc never opens, crashes immediately and pulls back to the main menu screen.

I've rooted into the device and there are NO log files in the private/var/..../Preferences folder nor the /var/mobile/..../CrashReporter/ folders.

Any suggestions?
