I have been having a good clean-up of my music files as the tags were a complete mess. I have been using Media Monkey to re-tag everything, and have been rating my favourite songs as I go along.
In XBMC I have a playlist set up that takes all the four and five star rated tracks for various genres. This is great for parties and should keep itself updated when I get new music and rate it in Media Monkey.
Except it doesn't work like that...none of the ratings come through. I rate them in Media Monkey, scan for new music in XBMC and the music and artwork comes in fine, but no song ratings.
What the hell am I doing wrong? I don't want to have to rate everything twice, once in MM and once in XBMC. I find rating songs in XBMC a pain in the rear to be perfectly honest, there's no quick way of eyeballing through tracks and rating as you go as far as I can see.
