Hi
I have the XBMC Remote for iOS installed on my iPhone and iPad ..... both will play movies (with sound from
the iDevice) ........ but neither will play sound when I play audio mp3's
is this a know problem or am I missing a setting somewhere in XBMC ?

Apologies if this is a known issue - I have already posted to a couple of boards but not recieved
any answer
I am using the iPhone XBMC Official remote but have no sound from the phone when trying to play audio (mp3s)
I am using 12.2 stable version of the remote
XBMC on R-Pi
If this is known issue I would really appreciate someone letting me know ...been googling in circles
for a couple of days now
If there is a fix for this please can someone point me in the right direction
thanks

thanks for your reply joethefox
I was referring to the remote app not the iOS version of XBMC
What confused me was that I am able to scroll through movie synopsis and play Movie trailers (with sound)
in the app. I automatically thought I could do the same with Music files
Streaming music in the app would have been ideal as I wanted to bluetooth music to my car stereeo
..... setting up the remote connection to XBMC via 3G mobile was a breeze
From what I have read elsewhere am I right in thinking that the iOS version of XBMC can only be downloaded
via Cydia for jailbroken devices ? .....if so is there any other workaround ?
