SBS half/full 3D possible?
#1
Is it possible to use XBMC to output SBS half/full 3D mkv's? I know they'll play fine, but I need one of the following for it to work with my projector :
* XBMC has to switch to 720p when using SBS files
* XBMC has to auto-convert SBS files to frame packing

Is there a way to do this?
(using OSX)

No. The internal player will display the SBS as is, and you would need your display to convert into a 3D image (works fine on Panasonics). There are external players that will transmit frame packed data, and they can be configured to work with XBMC. However, I'm not certain if they can convert SBS to frame-packed or if they will only play frame-packed materials and SBS materials as they are.

I don't think you'd be able to change the display resolution based on the video resolution (720pSBS would be 1280x1440), but I'm not sure there.
