this doesnt appear to be a pvr issue as such, the addon, submits the queue as expected, but i think date format of enigma2 device is mm/dd/yyy, while my xbmc clients are dd/mm/yyy.

ive changed regional settings to my area, and the timer menu displays schedule for today for example, but the the timer ticks over, and menu still displays "waiting"

[edit] issue turned out to be due to NTFS formatted HDD,
