Always on top in OSX?
#1
Is there any way to ensure that XBMC will always be on top in OSX, without manually clicking the "Float On Top" menu item?

I figured I could set this to default to ON using advancedsettings.xml but the <alwaysontop> option does nothing, so I assume that's Windows only.

Thanks for the suggestion, Ned. However that never worked for me and still doesn't. With that option set as advised in that thread (same as in the advancedsettings.xml help, btw) XBMC either hangs or produces a black screen until I quit out. Remove the option and the problem immediately goes away. Many others report this same problem in the thread you linked to, so it isn't just me. Seems to be an unresolved bug, or at least an area seriously lacking in documentation.
