i have it enabled and all the clearart and logos are downloaded but doesn't show up as an available view type. any ideas?

If you’re running Frodo you need to run the artwork downloader again for them to show up.
If you've already done this then I would suggest it's a bug, and perhaps you could try MQ4 or ACE?
