Damn, it's squeaky clean, as far as I can tell. The only thing I can think of at this point is nuking the guisettings.xml file in the userdata folder (wiki), but I'm not sure if that still works with the settings refactor?

I tried running it with no userdata folder, letting it build a scratch one, still no go.

Sounds like a misshnderstanding to me - still using the wrong settings level?

same here on Mac Mini. The new "hidden" menu for activating the advanced features is just no there.
Tried now with latest nightly, 13.0-alpha5 git 20130619, the issue remains.
Tried deleting guisettings.xml, it gets recreated, but issue remains.
Tried manually changing the setting of <settinglevel>1</settinglevel> to 3, but ofc after restart its being overwritten to default value.

Running Confluence ofcourse

Problem solved.

Compared the addons folder on working system with addons folder on "broken one". On the broken one there were several skin.confluence folders. Deleted those and now little devil of the menu is back Smile
