Hello. I'm trying to solve a minor annoyance with sorting of albums that have the same year. By default, if 2 albums have the same year it sorts alphabetically, but that sometimes doesn't coincide with the album release date.
I did find the <releasedate> tag in the album.nfo and modified that - tried MM-DD-YYYY and YYYY-MM-DD as the formats - ran an update of the library, but still didn't change the order. Is there another convention used here that may do the trick, or does anyone know another solution?
I know with movie collections you can change the order with the sorttitle tag, and that's worked for me in the past. Is there something similar to this with albums?
